ok, so here''s the deal. I grew up in a christian church with many rules...too many for my likeing. I rebelled and did everything i could to anger those in charge never really grasping the concept being portrayed in the Bible. I learned alot of it and was taught it constantly in the church and school at the church. It wasnt until last december that i had a lifechanging experience where i found God and truly put my trust in Christ''s blood to cover my sins. It wasnt a prayer, but a complete overwhelming feeling of contentment and peace at the thought that i had to take no thought for my future...God had my back. Since then I have really tried to follow that little voice inside me every time i feel like i should or shouldnt do something and i get such a wonderful feeling from following it. I know i mess up still even on a daily basis, but i really am trying Lord. If this is the true God whom I have come to know and love in the last 6 months then all i ask is what was that lifechanging experience i went through? only u and a few of my friends would know and if u can answer that then i know that every answer on this website is absolute truth. God for many years I''ve felt I was always an odd person. My high metabolism makes me feel angry at how skinny I am and many girls aren''t after a skinny dude. I constantly daydream and wish I was else where. I prefer the night than to the daytime. I''m very polite when needed and have excellent manners. I hate rap and hip/hop so much. I watch Tv series to escape my life but know there are good things in my life. I have a terrible blushing problem, attention towards me and giving speeches in front of people is hell for me. I''m very shy and I usually feel alone, even though I have a various amount of friends. I don''t show alot of emotion but I always have alot of it inside. I''m not afraid of alot of things including death and others I havent experienced yet but I think again I suppress alot of things so maybe that''s why I''m not afraid. I lie to feel excepted by various persons, but not to my very good friends, I guess the lying is more boredom. I get stressed out alot but I also worry about things too much. Revenge is a waste of time for me. I''m also very lazy and laid-back. I always dress casual because comfort is what I love. I''ve been in many accidents: being hit by a car while on foot, run over by a farm vehicle, crushed by heavy equipment, shot in the foot, and other minor accidents, I feel bad luck hovers around me. I really don''t like my brothers, they''ve ungrateful, unreliable, and are constant headaches. Both want nothing more than to drive people crazy,and bother and annoy everyone around them. I always wake up before my alarm goes off, at least 5 minutes and I feel like I never get enough sleep even if I got 8 or more hours. I havent had that many girlfriends, only 3, and I fell so hard for one that it almost felt like it killed me when she didnt even want to talk to me anymore. She said that if she talked to me about the break-up and wanting to still be friends (even with benefits) that she couldn''t have wanted to be just friends with benifits but again more than that. She said she just had to look away and put it behind us, because she did care for me but when looking at me she wanted me so much more. I know she''s nuts. I''m also attracted to very out-going women and ones that have weird quirks and unusual ideas and say off-the-wall things and have a macabre feel. Sometimes I feel like a hopeless romantic. Love is something I think about more than sex. I get chills when I listen to love songs/ballads that I like and often sing some of them myself, they touch me. I obsess over the women I find attractive but I''m not too hurt when they don''t feel the same way. I believe in true love. I openly express how much I care and love someone. I can''t stop thinking about women I cared and loved some much. I think about marriage and having a child even when I tell myself that I''m not worried or going to think too much about it until my late 20s.

I''m not talkative to just anybody, the very best of friends see the real me. I''ll talk to my best friends about anything even things that other people will ask `Did he just say that?`. I''m deeply honest but not hurtful with my best friends, no secrets. I don''t judge a person based on anything, even when they say weird things or act way too crazy, until I get to know them. I see the good in every person even when others only see the bad. I''m always told I''m a great listener and I''m always willing to help with a problem or just talk to them if something is bothering them. I lose alot of the wierd things about me when i drink including the shyness. I''m not sure but I think I might be a hypocondriac. And the fact I haven''t cried in 4 years, really makes me feel uneasy.

I''m on the other side of the world, away from some of my best friends who I care so much for and a girl that has everything that my heart knows is the greatest, but is in a relationship already. I wont get to see my friends or family for a long time because of my job and I might not see many of my friends again. I still call them every once in a while and say how much i miss them. I know long distance friendships and relationships are hard but I never felt this sad and crappy before. After joining the military, my job, I knew I''d miss my friends back home, but after being at the same base for four years and making many friends there it was so much harder to leave there than leaving home. I felt that being there that long I lost all I did and all the friends I made there and now I feel so lonely even when I call them, and I feel lost.

This may be a broad question for you, but I just have to ask. What''s wrong with me?

a young man grows up in the ghetto. he goes to a second rate school. his family has no money and constantly struggle. this young man is bombarded with bad influences and unsavory people. instead of going down a bad path like so many kids in his position do, using drugs or committing crimes to get what they want, he stays strong and focuses all of his effort into every good situation you put in front of him. also i forgot to mention you gave this young man a very special gift. he could create some of the most beautiful works of art anyone has laid eyes on. portraits, scenes, even comic book characters. that was his favorite, he even wrote his own comic book. after graduating from high school he wants nothing more than to go to art school. he applies to one of the best art schools there are and with his amazing talent it was no surprise when he got accepted. one of the requirements of the school was you bring your own full set of art supplies. which he could not afford, so he got a job at a warehouse that distributes goods to consumers bought over the phone or internet. its a hard job working exhausting hours and lifting heavy weight, but he doesn''t care as long as it gets that much closer to doing what he loves to do. of course being in such a tight financial situation, he cant afford a car. he rides a bike to and from work which cant be any fun seeing as how it was in the coldest months of the year, but again he doesn''t care he is still making money. one particularly cold day there was a light coating of snow on the hill leading to the warehouse where he worked. he left work hoping in his bike and heading down the road toward home. he squeezes his brakes to slow for the stop sign ahead. his bike slides on the snow and he loses control. just as he slides into the street a passing semi-truck strikes him at a speed of 60 miles an hour. it was unavoidable of the trucker who felt terrible and blamed himself. he was 27 years old. so my question is why do good things happen to wonderful people? he was shafted his entire childhood but stayed strong and faithful, and just as something good that i feel was well deserved was about to happen he is killed. why was he even alive to begin with?

I''ve been a cop for almost 9 years. I had to resign during my divorce because my ex wife and her family''s constant harassment was causing a problem for the department I worked for in south Florida. I moved to West Virginia and got another police job. It was awful. The chief of police was a brother in Christ but the rest of the town government was not and I was constantly being asked to do illegal things. I refused and the chief backed me up. When he retired, I was fired within the month.

I like to think I''m the kinda cop everybody wants to have around; honest and professional, tough enough to handle problems but nice enough to change a tire for someone in need. I really do like to help people and it''s one of the most rewarding aspects of the job. Don''t get me wrong, the respect and adrenaline are fun but they''re just side effects.

I''ve got 2 job offers. A trucking company wants me to come drive for them and the local sheriff wants me to be one of his deputies. I was gonna ask which to choose but after reading through this site I''ve already decided to put the badge back on. It''s a mess out there and people need all the help they can get, even mine.

My new question is how do you go on trying to help people that are either ungrateful or just don''t care? Any tips would be appreciated.

I wanted to say I am sorry. I got very angry yesterday. I am trying very hard to understand. I am in the process over these many months to get my own business going with 2 other GOOD people. But we keep coming against so many obstacles. In the mean time LORD I have tried for work. I am really struggling right now. I am so confused about everything. I pray to you everyday, crying, weak and unworthy trying to understand why these things are happening and what will happen next. Dear God, bear with me as I need to explain before I get to my question. I have always believed in you up until that past 5 years of my life. I became arrogant to your existence. I would read books by Hitchens, Dawkins and the like which made me think even more there was no GOD. Then 6 mos ago I lost my job. Thinking that with my background I would be able to find a job with no problem. That was not the case. In that time I started to think about you again. But I was afraid to pray because I did not want YOU to think I was being a hypocrite. My thinking was like this for 2 months after losing my job. After that period I could not take it any longer and I went to the end of my bed and talked to you as I did as a child and let you know why I havn''t talked to you all this time because of my own arrogance. (I hope you heard that conversation) but if you didn''t I asked you to forgive me. I don''t mean just, I am sorry, but I really mean from a person who knows that if i recv''d a job just as soon as I lost one I would not have learned to be more understanding, not to be judgmental and so many other things I found out about myself. LORD, I use to judge people who were on welfare and food stamps and now I am on food stamps because my unemployment ran out. Who was I to judge anyone. I have been praying to you and to your Son now to help me. I still have not found a job yet and I have even tried to open my own business in order to help people but that seems at a stand still. My uncle tells me that when I am on the right path all things will go in the direction God wants us to go. Denied twice by the SS for disability, get a lawyer, and wait 2 more years, still in the air ( total of 4+ years waiting to see if losing everything I used to own is enough )...Lost my marriage, my home, my rental property, my pick-up, my boat, my motorcycle, and at the end, just to stay current on my child support, even sold my tools ( some of which were my Grandfathers, who died in 67 ) and cashed in my 401K... Prayed all the time, to no avail. If this is the way things work out for people who really try to keep the faith, I have officially decided you people lie... It is all a bunch of crap to keep the money rolling in... If you really feel sorry for me, think I have gotten the bad end of the stick,each one of you send me a buck so I can avoid the street, which is where I am headed...This is a put-up, or shut-up moment... If you are God then who is Jesus? I was always told Jesus was God. if that is the case why would Jesus be on the cross asking God why have you forsaken me? If he was god would he not know that answer?

Jesus cried `Why have thou forsaken me?` Because while he was on the cross I laid on him ALL of sin and sickness. Why? So he (Being the Son of God and man) would bear the penalty for Adam''s and every human beings sins past - present - and future. At that moment, I did separate myself from him, because where sin is I am not. When he died, sin died with him. Then I was able to reconcile with Jesus and mankind with his resurrection. Understand this: It was Jesus''s faith in Me to keep My word that gave you the opportunity to be saved by your faith in Him. I suggest you take advantage of that opportunity today, because time is running out as the day of Jesus''s 2nd coming is drawing near.

I have had many theological conversations with people discussing God, Jesus and what not, and inevitably the subject of hell comes up. It is interesting to note that most people do not believe in hell (just my personal experience). A lot of people prefer to believe they will simply cease to exist, I am not sure what I believe exactly, but I tend to lean more toward the idea that `Hell` is in actuality, the complete absence of God. Every day that I look around and see what is going on with this world, I am more convinced that we are living in what will soon be Hell.
So then, based on that theory, I suppose that my question is what exactly was the point of creating everything that You did (being all knowing, You set us up to fail.)?

I''m being harassed by my ex friend. It started a year ago, when she found out that I slept with her husband. She was having sex with other men and at one time tried to get me to have sex with her and her husband. That was not my kind of thing so I declined. My husband is a very mean man. He is emotionally and physically abusive towards me. He also shows me no attention and rarely ever makes love to me. My ex friend was really never a good friend. I saw that she had issues. She was never really there for me. I continued being her friend because I didn''t know how to end it. So, I fell for one of the worst sins `LUST`. Even though I dont feel like I lusted for her husband, but I did fall for his attention and understanding ways. He was there for me and I was there for him. I also, did what I always do and that is try to please someone in need. He needed me to have sex with him and I wanted to please him. I however really didn''t want too. I just wanted his attention not sex. All the while he was having sex with me, I was thinking, his wife wont even care. She is sleeping with multiple partners and she offered her husband and herself to me at one time. She also makes fun of him and told me she would leave him, if she could find the right person to leave him for. I know I was just trying to make myself feel better about my having an affair with her husband. I know it was wrong and there is still my husband that could be hurt `maybe` by it all. Well, the worst came when she and my husband found out. My husband forgave me `some what` and my ex friend has never forgave me. Even though she ended our friendship before she found out I had an affair with her husband. She got extremely mad at me because she thought my husband told her husband that she had been sleeping around with other men. My husband never did that, but my friend kept texting me and harrassing me about it. She sent me 250 texts. I sent her 30. I finally just stopped. she later found out about my affair with her husband and since then there have been so many texts that I had to change my number. Then she contacted me through via mail. She sent 10 letter all of which were 9 pages or more long. With graphic pornographic pictures of her and her husband. She is very foul mouthed and she insist of her hatred of me. Wishing I would commit suicide and damming me. She also has contacted me through facebook doing the same thing. I never responded to her through mail, but I did respond after the third long long long messages she left in my inbox on facebook. I asked her to leave me alone and I started with the nice response, that eventually ended up at me getting mad back, but that didnt help either so I contacted the facebook owners and they flagged her so she couldnt get to me no more on facebook. Now she has found my number once more and is starting on me again. She is so harrassing and she will never stop. She told me this out of her own words. She said she wants me dead. or to be unhappy for the rest of my life. she has said to me that she has found God and that she is a great person and that she will go to heaven, but why and How can I convince her that it is wrong of her to hurt and harrasse me like this???????

I''ve had a pretty rough few weeks. It was the anniversary of my grandma''s death, on the same day my grandpa died, and two days later my partner broke up with me.

I know my grandma, and grandpa are now in heaven and are at peace but i do still miss them and hope i make them proud.

My beautiful 25 year old niece committed suicide on June 6, 2007. My brother also committed suicide back on December 28, 1983. My brother was mean, nasty and in constant trouble with the law. If his soul ended up in hell, I didn''t care because he deserved it. My niece, on the other hand, was a very kind person, with a good sense of humor, but with a troubling sadness she obviously could not get rid of while she was alive. First a statement before the question. I have children now and I cannot fathom without great sadness how you were able to sacrifice your only son. My son accepted Christ as his savior when he was about 14-15 yrs old. He is now 21. He went off to college, he was taught evolution and how they think God is not real, he came home saying, the bible isnt true and he thinks that Jesus was just a man, that what the bible says didnt really happen. He needs to do 2 things.
1. Pray for enlightenment, wisdom and knowledge in Jesus'' name.
2. Study the evidence of my son''s resurrection. It''s all over the place. When he proves to himself that Jesus raised from the dead and 1000’s of people saw Him after the resurrection, the scales will drop from his eyes. And let him know that all those `Smart People` have never spent 10 days or even 10 minutes looking at the evidence. They don''t `Need` to because they have risen above such `non-sense` and created a religion where they are the gods. Been going on since Adam and Eve.
